Council Tax Property InspectorJob Description:
What youll be doing:
Regular inspections of domestic properties or sites that have been given planning permission and visiting commercial properties.
Arranging own calendar to ensure that visits take place in a timely manner but also that all administrative tasks are completed
Establishing liability or entitlement to tax discount exemption or reliefs in line with legislation and policy.
Taking appropriate action where reliefs no longer apply.
Arranging appointments with landlords agents business owners etc to gain access to premises.
Ensuring the database is accurate complete and uptodate.
Developing a network of relationships with developers and landlords in the area
Liaising with other agencies
What were looking for:
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Good written and numerical skills
Computer literacy and ability to use handheld devices
Enthusiasm friendliness and confidence
Initiative selfmotivation and accuracy
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
