Job Description
Job Summary:
Bakers Restaurant located inside the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown South Bend is seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations ensure exceptional guest experiences and support the restaurant team. This position is responsible for maintaining high service standards coordinating with kitchen staff and assisting with administrative duties such as scheduling and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise restaurant operations ensuring smooth service and a positive guest experience.
- Lead train and support frontofhouse staff fostering a professional and teamoriented environment.
- Oversee floor operations including seating guests handling reservations and resolving guest concerns.
- Monitor food quality presentation and service to maintain Hilton and Bakers Restaurant standards.
- Assist in scheduling staff development and performance management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Manage inventory order supplies and monitor cost controls.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in handling cash processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Work closely with hotel management to align restaurant goals with overall guest satisfaction and revenue targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Proficiency in pointofsale (POS) systems and basic financial reporting.
- Customerfocused mindset with a passion for hospitality.
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
