Job Description
- Lead the Sales and Supply Support team and work with Regional Retail Supply Integration team as well as Store Commercial team to secure the highest possible goods availability for launches country and local store activities as well as excellent availability everyday.
- Contribute to the store business plan and logistics action plan. Ensure the logistics actions agreed in the store business plan are implemented within the Sales and Supply Support team.
- Maximise successful replenishment by driving the actions of forecasting and ordering to ensure they are aligning with the commercial calendar and within the store capacity.
- Work actively with the Goods Flow Manager in analysing stock discrepancies and support the Logistics and Business Navigation Manager with the analysis of the discrepancies as part of the inventory management process.
- Secure an efficient and precise range management process for the store thereby constantly maintaining a healthy stock structure overstock concrete and past EDS stocks are within an acceptable level.
- Work actively with the commercial team on the range change process and ensuring the required article parameters are in place to support the timely sales start of NEWS thereby creating a sense of vitality for our visitors.
- Set goals based on agreed key performance indicators and monitor the Sales and Supply Support teams performance against agreed goals adapting and taking action accordingly.
- Ensure that the Sales and Supply Support team works in compliance with the IKEA Code of
- Conduct internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health safety & security and the environment.
- Identify recruit and develop the talents within the Sales and Supply Support team to secure succession planning.
- Live the IKEA values and nurture a strong and thriving IKEA culture that inspires colleagues to reach extraordinary achievements in the store and specifically in the Sales and Supply Support team
Qualifications :
- You are highly interested in home furnishing peoples life at home and the IKEA product range;
- Experience of working in a fastpaced retail and/or logistics role including previous experience of leading others.
- Experience of leading and managing a team preferably gained in retailing and/or logistics.
- Problemsolving experience with proven record of meeting goals deadlines.
- You possess high analytical and numerical skills are skilled in supporting an efficient and costeffective commercial performance and able to make objective decisions based on monitoring and reviewing of the instore Logistics system and other available information.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust establish and maintain effective work relationships with crossdepartmental colleagues.
Additional Information :
This role requires flexibility in work hours work schedule is approximately 40 hours per week on the average depending on store operational requirements. Working on public holidays and weekends.
