DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Liquor Store General Manager 2A you will supervise manage and direct activities in stateowned Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores. As General Manager you will implement and apply policy and procedure to store operations assign and evaluate work and promote excellent customer relations. General Managers are accountable for the entire store operation which includes sales store maintenance merchandise and cash accounting maintenance of records and all related functions.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours vary between 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM Sunday Saturday.
- Work hours will vary. Scheduled hours will be equal to 75 hours/biweekly.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be nonnegotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1B Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- Two years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- Three years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- Three years of lead or supervisory retail sales work.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a casebycase basis.
