St Andrews War Memorial Hospital Day Surgery Centre is an extension of St Andrews War Memorial Hospital. The brandnew surgery centre offers a dedicated day surgery experience and a wide range of procedures for patients who do not require an overnight stay in hospital.

The purposebuilt surgical centre is located opposite the main hospital within St Andrews Place on North St Spring Hill and features two procedure rooms an operating theatre as well as admission and recovery spaces. The centre has been designed to meet the growing demand for surgical treatment at St Andrews and changing patient and clinician preferences for sameday procedures.By bringing together the finest medical experts care and technology were able to deliver personalised care and worldclass results.

Your part in St Andrews War Memorial Day Surgery Centre

As part of our brand new Day Surgery Centre you will work alongside our Registered Nurses and be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes.

You will deliver exceptional personcentred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team applying exceptional communication and customer service skills.

What Makes a difference for us

• Minimum of 12 months experience in Perioperative Environment
• Previous Admissions/ Recovery experience
• Australian Working Rights (We are unable to provide sponsorships)
• Relevant qualification and AHPRA registration
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Availability to work across a fortnightly rotating roster between 6am 8pm Mon Fri
• Availability to commence March 31st 2025 ideal
