What youll do

This is a key and instrumental position in our expanding DACH Enterprise sales operation in Germany and central to our continued success and expansion in EMEA. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving incremental growth and net new logos with Enterprise companies in the DACH territory and will drive Docusigns footprint in the region for years to come.

This role is a People Manager position reporting to the VP of Sales DACH


Responsibility

  • Lead the DACH Enterprise sales team in creating complex deals that create business value and ROI for the customer
  • Win new DACH Enterprise clients and logos with the support of marketing sales engineering and business development
  • Design plans to go to market in DACH and build team to deliver to those plans
  • Create direct and drive new Enterprise business campaigns for the DACH territory
  • Lead complex customer engagements and winning new DACH Enterprise accounts as a team
  • Increase Docusigns footprint in existing DACH Enterprise accounts
  • Navigate within complex existing DACH Enterprise accounts understanding how to successfully crosssell and upsell opportunities
  • Leverage the various internal resources at your disposal (value engineering presales marketing lead generation support and professional services) to win new business
  • Create an Enterprise Account Executive talent pool for the sales organization

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between inoffice and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly inoffice expectation)

Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. Docusign reserves the right to change a positions job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelors degree or Masters degree in a relevant field (business marketing
    engineering)
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Shown experience in leading growing and handling high performing software Enterprise sales teams in the DACH territory
  • Track record of success in landing and expanding new DACH Enterprise logos
  • Proven track record of overachievement and attainment
  • Experience in driving Clevel or Senior Executive level discussions in large multinational DACH prospects
  • Clear ability to drive incremental growth from new and existing accounts
  • Proven experience of working with Docusign Partners and resellers in the DACH
  • Proven experience in hiring building and coaching DACH Enterprise sales teams
  • Ability to create and implement strategic sales plans and driving the of them
  • Clear understanding of software and or cloud solutions

Preferred

  • Ability to create and drive strategic and transformational country and regional initiatives
  • Ability to work in a fast paced innovative and hypergrowth organization
  • Background in driving and accelerating team performance through metric management dashboards etc.
  • Experience of Salesforce and/or other contact center management systems
  • Ability to work within a complex matrix driven organization

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.

Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $X/hour $X/hour or $X $X base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $X/hour $X/hour or $X $X base salary

Washington New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $X/hour $X/hour or $X $X base salary

Washington DC: $X/hour $X/hour or $X $X base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of preestablished sales goals. NonSales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
