Legacy Systems SubLead PTT Bangkok
Position Overview
PTT is seeking a Legacy Systems SubLead to support the Legacy Lead in managing and modernizing legacy systems. This role will assist in overseeing daily operations team coordination and technical implementation of legacy system initiatives.
Work Arrangement
Oneyear contract
Hybrid working model
Office: PTT Head Office Bangkok
Mix of office and remote work as per project requirements
Regular inperson attendance for team meetings and stakeholder sessions
Key Responsibilities
System Operations Support
Assist in managing daily operations of legacy systems
Monitor system performance and stability
Implement maintenance procedures
Support troubleshooting and problem resolution
Coordinate system updates and patches
Technical Implementation
Execute legacy system maintenance activities
Support modernization initiatives
Implement technical solutions
Assist in system integration projects
Conduct system testing and validation
Team Coordination
Supervise technical team members
Coordinate daily team activities
Provide technical guidance to team members
Support knowledge transfer initiatives
Assist in resource allocation
Documentation Management
Maintain system documentation
Update operational procedures
Document technical solutions
Assist in knowledge base management
Create technical reports
Quality Control
Implement quality assurance procedures
Monitor compliance with standards
Support testing initiatives
Validate system changes
Ensure documentation quality
Technical Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
7 years of IT experience with 3 years in legacy systems
Strong expertise in:
Mainframe technologies
Legacy programming languages
Database systems
System maintenance
Technical documentation
Testing methodologies
Required Skills
Strong technical background in legacy systems
Team supervision experience
Problemsolving abilities
Documentation skills
Communication expertise
Quality management skills
Excellent communication skills in English (Thai language skills are a plus)
