Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design control systems including panel layout wiring schematics w
rite PLC programs for various inhouse equipment and automation.
- Work closely with the Maintenance department to troubleshoot and sup
port existing equipment.
- Develop and write operating setup maintenance procedures.
- In partnership with the production team review equipment efficiency
and utilization to help identify process improvements and cost reduct
ion opportunities.
- Design improvements to existing equipment and processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10 years minimum experience with manufacturing controls.
- PLC & HMI programming
- Robotic programming
- BSEE degree or equivalent experience
- Analytical skills
- Strong electrical knowledge
- Familiar with machine safety standards
- Proficiency with 2D CAD software 3D a plus)
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Mechanical aptitude
- Machine vision a plus
- Detail oriented
