Job Description
We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated AM Operations Supervisor to join our team at our Kenwick! As our AM Operations Supervisor youll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient unloading of linehaul trailers and containers and the effective unloading of PUD vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximise Efficiency: Ensure trailers containers and PUD Vehicles are loaded to full capacity distribute freight accurately and oversee all unloading activities.
- Collaborate and Support: Work closely with the Depot Manager to address concerns related to revenue loads and site operations.
- Lead and Guide: Supervise AM Forklift Operators and General Hands focusing on safety scanning accuracy and minimizing freight damage.
- Monitor and Report: Keep a keen eye on revenue load accuracy costs and service issues and work towards providing effective solutions.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain safe load procedures adherence to Chain of Responsibility and ensure equipment and resource efficiency.
Key Competencies:
- Proven supervisory experience within the freight industry.
- Current and valid Forklift Licence (LF).
- Strong judgment skills with the ability to make firm and fair decisions.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Ability to achieve KPIs and targets with a customercentric approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good time management skills.
