Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join our Electronics Center of Excellence team in Huntsville Alabama.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Manages develops and motivates employees
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st/A shift (Monday through Thursday) 6:00 AM 4:30 PM) however candidates must be willing to work any shift weekends and overtime as required. Note: Shift is subject to change as business needs change.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
More than 3 years of experience leading a team or program
More than 3 years of experience in facilitating or helping to lead process improvement activities
More than 1 year of experience working with or supporting automation in a manufacturing environment
More than 3 years of experience in developing and deploying organizational strategies or initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
More than 3 years of Management experience
Experience leading lean or continuous improvement activities or projects
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years related work experience).
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.
