Job Description
The Department of Urology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN currently has an outpatient clinical position available. In this position the Urology PA or NP will practice as a skilled member of the health care team that centers on the evaluationand intervention of general and oncologic urologic conditions.Provision of care may include but is not limited to comprehensive assessment diagnosis prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments administration of nonpharmacological therapies and patient education. APPs would actively partner with team members by fostering an inclusive work environment and respecting others with different backgrounds experiences and perspectives.APPs would actively partner with team members by fostering an inclusive work environment and respecting others with different backgrounds experiences and perspectives.
Qualifications
Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification or eligible to be certified as an ANP ACNP or FNP.
Or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by the NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.
The NP/PA must be eligible for DEA registration.
