Were looking for a passionate and talented Machine Learning Engineer Intern to join our Machine Learning Platform team!

What Youll Do:

As a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Xometry youll contribute to projects that directly impact our manufacturing processes and customer experience. You can expect to work in an environment that encourages innovation and provides handson experience with the latest cloud technologies in support of our enterprise data science efforts. You will be:

• Contributing to research and design of our enterprise machine learning platform.
• Developing and extending APIs leveraged by multiple machine learning models and the Xometry application.
• Developing pipelines and systems in AWS to support MLOps best practice.
• Collaborating with engineers and domain experts to understand business needs and translate them into effective solutions .
• Presenting your findings and insights to the team.

The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in: Computer Science Machine Learning Artificial Intelligence or a related field.

What Were Looking For:

Academic Excellence: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university graduating in December 2025 or May 2026 with a minimum 3.5 GPA.

Technical Skills: Strong experience with relevant programming languages (e.g. Python Go) and API frameworks (e.g. FastAPI REST) familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP). Experience with machine learning algorithms (e.g. regression classification clustering) and common python libraries for machine learning (e.g. scikitlearn Tensorflow PyTorch) is a plus .

Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work fulltime 40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 9 August 15 2025.

Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

ProblemSolving Skills: A passion for problemsolving and a desire to drive results.

Legal Authorization: Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States.

Location Requirement: Ability to commute to our Lexington KY or North Bethesda MD office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week.
