Th Role:
As a Sr. Systems Engineer you are in an experienced position that may include traditional systems engineering functions human systems integration (HSI) and/or modelbased systems engineering (MBSE) scope. In this position you will play a significant role
in the application of MTIs usercentered research analysis design and development process. You will work independently and as
part of a team as you lead tasks support junior engineers and create highlyeffective solutions for complex critical missions.
Your Responsibilitiies
- Lead identification evaluation decomposition and traceabilityof stakeholder requirements program requirements andcompliance standards.
- Lead development analysis and documentation of systemarchitecture and interfaces particularly as related to userinterface components and system functionality that supportsuser effectiveness.
- Lead trade studies course of action analyses and othertechnical decisions.
- Support creation and implementation of systems engineeringpractices.
- Take an active expert role in technical meetings.
- Contribute to the development of compliant and usercentric solutions that effectively meet mission needs.
- Lead creation of descriptive models analytical models andsimulations of systems using modelbased systemsengineering and digital engineering tools and practices.
- Lead integration of HSI domains with each other withother system considerations and throughout the project.
- Lead the development of quality effective systemsengineering documentation. Actively engage inknowledge sharing and skill development within the teamwhile building a rapport and collaborative workingrelationship with coworkers.
Your Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in a technical or engineering field.
- An advanced degree in SE or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience generallyrequired.
- A commitment to understanding and advocating for the needsand preferences of end users across a program.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills withthe ability to convey complex human factors findings andrecommendations articulately to a wide range of audiences.
- Developing leadership and mentorship skills; ability tocultivate a culture of usercentric design and knowledgesharing.
