ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster cheaper more energyefficient microchips. We design develop integrate market and service these advanced machines which enable our customers the worlds leading chipmakers to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips which in turn leads to smaller more powerful consumer electronics. We are currently recruiting for an internship located at our office in San Diego California.
Role and Responsibilities
Procedure documentation (A4/TPS/GID style format) for Research functions Laser Droplet Generation Tin Management.
Requires understanding of engineering design principles design of experiment or development and industrialization of documentation technical procedures.
High level of competence with word processing documentation structures
Other duties as assigned.
Intern Profile: Manufacturing/Process engineer and/or Mechanical/optical background preferred but just needs to be a detail oriented person who can capture right detail level.
Onboarding: Source overview training (for targeted modules) shadow PE(s)/experts in lab.
Closure of Internship: Present on overview of Source Actions that are expert led which service actions documented over course of internship to what completeness level any final technical review of procedures with Systems team (PEs PIs ...; doctree of procedures and applicability.
Education and Experience
23rd year pursuing Industrial Mechanical Electrical BS track; Physics BA or BS.
Process or Industrial Engineering background with coursework related to the work content preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Experience working in or supporting technical or industrial labs.
Skills
Can learn and apply new information or skills.
Must be able to read and interpret data information and documents.
Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization quality efficiency and professionalism.
Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy with general direction often working on multiple concurrent assignments.

Other Information
This position is located onsite at ASML San Diego. It requires onsite presence to attend inperson workrelated events training courses and meetings and to further ensure teamwork collaboration and innovation it is not a remote internship position.

Responsibilities
Must be willing to work in a clean room environment wearing coveralls hoods booties safety glasses hearing protection and gloves for entire duration of shift.
While performing the duties of this job the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard finger handle and feel; stoop kneel crouch twist reach and stretch. Must be able to climb up and down ladder or escalator steps
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Spend a significant amount of time (greater than 30 on the floor walking two to three miles a day and/or standing/sitting for nine hours.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The current base annual hourly range for this role is currently $18.00 $48.00. Pay scales are determined by role level location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to jobrelated skills relevant education and experience certifications abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
