The opportunity

We currently have a permanent fulltime opportunity to join our Workers Compensation Claims Business as a Case Manager. In this role you will play an integral part in providing superior claims service determining proper policy coverage to conclude investigate and evaluate assigned cases.

As a Case Manager you will take pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint. You are selfmotivated with a keen attention to detail capable of maintaining high standards during times of change and resilient when facing challenges.

Your new role

  • Facetoface contact with stakeholders through case conferencing claims reviews and onsite visits.

  • You will need to adhere to set timeframes ensure compliance with all legislative codes and company policies and enter accurate information on all claims onto our database.

  • Provide support and guidance to injured people throughout their claim.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

  • Work in a fastpaced and dynamic work environment; and

  • Provide end to end claims management for your client portfolio drawing on your exceptional customer service and decisionmaking skills to achieve return to work objectives.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A highly empathetic customer approach and ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanour when processing claims.

  • An engaging and courteous phone manner with the ability to type and talk concurrently.

  • The ability to build rapport and provide timely solutions and recommendations with diverse customers.

  • Resilience with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

  • Strong computer and numeracy skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.

  • Previous experience in customer service administration and/or operational roles

  • An understanding of general insurance and relevant industry legislation and/or previous experience within insurance claims and industry related roles is highly advantageous but not mandatory for all area.
