Foster Care Intern
In this intern role we are looking for a student that is currently in school working towards their degree in Social Work Psychology Sociology or other types of Human services degrees. In this internship the intern will be training on the licensing and opening of new foster homes as well as working with foster parents and youth here at NYAP.
Responsibilities
Internship responsibilities vary and are based on the agreement between the educational institution and NYAP
Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission values and philosophies
Minimum Qualifications
Enrollment in an accredited educational program. Specifically Social Services or other Human Services degrees.
Specific qualifications will be based on internship details.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers smart phones and tablets printers fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing spreadsheet and database programs.
