Orka Financial is working for a business based in Wokingham who seeking a diligent and detailoriented Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team. You will play a key role in supporting the daytoday financial operations focusing on managing invoices liaising with suppliers and assisting with monthend tasks.
The Accounts Assistant position comes with the opportunity to study AAT.
Key ResponsibilitiesI
nvoice Management- Process verify and record invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit payments to suppliers and manage the payment schedule.
Supplier Liaison- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers acting as the main point of contact for queries.
- Resolve any invoice or payment issues in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Regularly review supplier accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with payment terms.
Assist with monthend tasks including journal entries bank reconciliations and ledger reviews.
General Administrative Support
Qualifications and SkillsPrevious experience in an accounts or finance assistant role.
Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage QuickBooks Xero) is advantageous.
Working towards AAT qualification or a keen interest in beginning AAT studies.
