Job Description

Position Summary
Preparation of media and subsolutions.
Hours: 1st shift 6:30am 3:00pm. Overtime weekends and holidays may be required.
Position Responsibilities
- Preparation and filtration of media and solutions.
- Proficient use of aseptic technique metric system record keeping use of laboratory equipment performance of laboratory duties.
- Follow specifications required in batch records and Standard Operating Procedures.
Education and Experience
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Preference given to applicants with relevant experience in biological production and/or aseptic manufacturing.
- Two years postsecondary education with biological coursework desirable.
Technical Skills and Competencies Required
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of metric system.
Physical Position Requirements
- Exposure to chemicals fumes odors noise live steam temperature fluctuations biohazards continuous standing and lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Weekend and holiday work may be required.
