Claims Manager

Max Term Full Time

Call Centre Insurance

Pay Band 2

  • Multiple contracts available minimum 6month contracts on offer
  • Rotating rosters between 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday
  • Multiple Start Dates throughout March and April
  • Flexible Work: Enjoy working from home with a hybrid model.

What youll do

As a Claims Manager you are someone who can manage complex human behaviours through emotionally demanding calls including speaking with a vulnerable customer delivering difficult news or taking a challenging call. If you are passionate about helping people we want to hear from you!

  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Be the primary contact for property loss claims guiding customers through policy entitlements and claims processes.
  • Empathetic Support: Proactively address customer needs building trusted relationships and balancing customer and business outcomes.
  • Claims Management: Set strategies collaborate with stakeholders and manage claims costs while ensuring timely quality outcomes.
  • Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks ensuring adherence to policies regulations and the General Insurance Code of Practice.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements support team development and ensure financial compliance with policy scope and authority limits.

What youll bring

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience with 13 years in general insurance (preferred).
  • Knowledge of claims processes and general insurance products (preferred).
  • Deliver empathetic outstanding customer service in all interactions.
  • Resilient and caring mindset to manage complex and emotionally demanding situations including vulnerable customers.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problemsolving attention to detail and knowledge of relevant insurance legislation.
  • Computer literacy and ability to navigate new systems and platforms.
