Product Marketing Team Leader

Canon UK&I are looking for a Product Marketing Team Leader.

The Product Marketing Team Leader at Canon is a great opportunity for strengthening managerial skills and team performance by managing a team of Product Managers who are looking after Production products solutions or services.
Alongside team leader responsibilities you will have active product marketing and product management responsibilities for one new and exciting specific product area. You will maximise performance of the products within the Production portfolio designing and implementing the effective marketing plans and campaigns to drive revenue growth and profit through collaboration with Sales Professional Service Services and all other support functions as appropriate.

What we ask

• Manage and support a small team of Product Managers in all daytoday activities to ensure operational and tactical delivery of key marketing strategies.
• Oversee the performance and development of your team as well as the health and wellbeing of direct reports.
• Create intraportfolio alignment and cross departmental collaboration through ownership of the relevant portfolio including supplier relationship management.
• Participate and contribute to the wider Marketing Management team discussions and approach.
• Through thorough market analysis (incl. competitor positioning market share) help set business targets manage the product budget process and the midterm plan and then monitor CUKI progress through appropriate reporting.
• Managing area profitability with appropriate monthly reporting (revenues and units)
• Build discuss establish a product marketing strategy to achieve product objectives within relevant channels and sectors.
• Own product lifecycle management for all elements of your assigned product portfolio including successful launch and exit of products collaboration with marketing colleagues to implement required lead generation activity and creation of sales enablement tooling and content.
• Be the spokesperson for the product portfolio at key internal & external events with the ability to position the portfolio to different audiences and tailor content appropriately.
• Actively manage one product group with the appropriate campaigns and initiatives for a successful product and continuous revenues generation opportunities.
• ensure accurate ways to cascade information to stakeholders.

You will need

As the Product Marketing Team Leader you will possess the following skills and expertise;

• Successful track record in B2B Marketing including Product Marketing within the Technology sector
• Experience working with direct and indirect sales teams ideally including distribution and ecommerce.
• Proactive selfstarter able to overcome obstacles and deliver within agreed timeframes.
• Passionate about Product Marketing and associated technologies.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills incl. Salesforce / PowerBI and other analytical tools to present current revenue profitability and market share performance and midterm forecasts.
• Blends a creative approach with analytical substance.
• Budget management (P&L and revenues targets).
• Relationship and networking building skills being able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Sales Support Functions and Canon Europe.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Degree in Marketing or CIM qualified preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in related role preferred.

Salary: circa 55000 plus 10 bonus (dependant on experience)
