About the Role

The Learning & Enterprise College Bexley is a vibrant financially secure adult education institution responsible for delivering high quality outcomes for students residents and employers while contributing to the strategic objectives laid out in Bexley Councils corporate priorities for adult learning employment and wellbeing.


We are looking for tutors to support our growing counselling curriculum offer. LECB offer a range of CPCAB accredited courses up to Level 4.

You must also meet the following requirements to support delivery of CPCAB qualifications up to Level 4:

  • 420 hours therapeutic counselling qualification at level 4 or above e.g. TCL4
  • Engage in 10 hours of personal therapy
  • Member of a professional association for counselling or psychotherapy
  • 30 hours per year CPD activities
  • Current supervised counselling practice with a minimum of 6 months postqualifying practice experience
  • Teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one (minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training)
  • A minimum of one years experience of teaching and assessing at level 2 and 3 or above.
  • A minimum of level 2 in English maths and ICT or equivalent (maths and English screening tests will be completed at interview).
