Job Description
Job Title: Facilities Services (Summer/Temp)
Reporting Relationship: Assistant Vice President of Operations and Facilities Services
Unit: IWUMarion
Department: Facilities ManagementIWU Marion
Campus Location: Maintenance Building
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve the campus community in the capacity determined by the Director. Responsibilities could include: General Maintenance General Housekeeping General Grounds Care Assist where needed within Facilities Services
- Adhere to any safety regulations and standards spelled out in the IWU safety policy
- Comply with any processes and procedures established by Facilities management and or Indiana Wesleyan University administration. May be required to work overtime as directed by supervision
Qualifications:According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
- High School diploma
Experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team member on detailed daytoday tasks
Required Skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Excellent organizational problem solving and communication skills
- Excellent decisionmaking skills
- Valid drivers license preferred but not required
