Job Description
Position Overview:
Korzen Health is seeking a compassionate boardcertified Psychiatrist to join our outpatient team in Bowling Green KY. This fulltime position offers a MondayFriday schedule. This is outpatient psychiatry with a focus on collaborative integrated care. You will work in close collaboration with midlevel providers to deliver quality patientcentered care. J1 and H1B are acceptable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients admitted to the inpatient unit
- Review medical records and conduct interviews with patients and their families to gather comprehensive information
- Formulate accurate diagnoses based on DSM5 criteria and clinical findings
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications adjusting as necessary for optimal outcomes
- Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications:
- MD or DO in Psychiatry
- Boardcertified or boardeligible in Psychiatry
- Licensed to practice in Kentucky (or eligible for licensure)
- Active DEA
