We are currently seeking a selfmotivatedAccount Managerto develop new business for a territory covering the greater Chicago area. The focus will be selling fluid power components in the industrial markets related to marine military and other industrial market segments.

What youll be doing
Work with your District Sales Manager to create a sales plan to develop a prospect list to capture new business
Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads cold calls and sales presentations
Regularly meet with Sales Supervisor to review weekly sales activities progress on goals and status of prospective customers
Collaborate with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams who will assist you in meeting and exceeding your sales goals
Understanding of the market in the territory to generate and prospect for new business
Utilization of tools and resources to plan and manage time and territory
Cadence and accountability weekly review with the sales manager
Expanding while maintaining existing business
Desired Experience Skills and Education
2 year Technical Industrial and or Business degree OR any suitable combination of education training and experience
2 years of increasing sales experience preferably selling hydraulic and/or pneumatic components within the industrial market space
Experience with valueadd sales
Ability to establish and build business relationships
