About Us: We are currently seeking a highly experienced and resultsdriven General Manager to lead our team and oversee operations in one of the most dynamic and competitive markets in the country.
Position Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the hotel ensuring that all aspects of the property run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven ability to drive business growth optimize operational processes and deliver outstanding guest satisfaction. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to adapt to the unique demands of the TriState market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all hotel operations including front desk housekeeping food and beverage sales and maintenance
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction maximize occupancy and drive revenue growth
- Monitor and control budgets forecasts and financial performance ensuring profitability targets are met
- Ensure compliance with all hotel brand standards health and safety regulations and local laws
- Recruit train and develop staff to maintain high standards of service and performance
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel and increase visibility in the TriState area
- Address and resolve guest issues and complaints to ensure a positive experience
- Oversee the propertys operational processes to ensure efficiency and cost control
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors partners and local businesses
- Manage renovations expansions or other property improvements as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in hospitality management business administration or a related field
- 5 years of experience as a General Manager or similar role in a fullservice unionized hotel preferably in a metropolitan or highly competitive market
- Strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing financial performance
- Excellent understanding of hotel management systems and operations
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to the fastpaced environment of the TriState New York Metropolitan Area
- Strong knowledge of guest service principles and practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
