Job Description
Overnight Youth Treatment Specialist (PartTime) VanAndelSummit Program
The Overnight Youth Treatment Specialist is responsible for providing daily care counsel and supervision to the adolescents living within the VanAndelSummit residential home. This program provides services for substance abuse recovery for male and female adolescents ranging in age from 1218 years old.

Lets be honest...
We wont sugarcoat this. Some days are going to be tough. Those in our care have been abused and neglected have histories of mental health challenges and some are involved in the juvenile justice system. Their trauma is real. Theyre short on trust and sometimes quick to anger. Theyre not used to caring adults who show up day after day.
But you will. You were built for this.
Hours: Every other weekend 11pm7am.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be at least 20 years of age
High school diploma required
Must have a valid drivers license
Additional education and/or certification in Psychology Social Work Counseling or a related field preferred.
Prior experience supervising at risk youth is preferred
Ability to pivot bend twist and stoop while bearing weight of individuals served.
Willing to pick up third shift hours with advanced notice.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. nonstationary weight through the approved technique is required.
Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal purpose and objective of the agency.
