Job Description
Nessus NMAP Wireshark
Due to federal contract requirements United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
Required:
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
- Must be a US Citizen
- This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two 02 years within the last five 05 years must be directly related to Information Systems Security Engineering / Operations:
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher.
- Experience as an ISSO/ISSE with emphasis on DefenseinDepth principles network and enterprise security architecture
- Experience applying the principles of the NIST 80053 including the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Familiarity with STE/STN requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with several of the following: current security tools; hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools.
- Experience completing security evaluations of software systems or architectures to ensure they meet security requirements.
- Experience preparing and maintaining SSPs and other security related documentation.
- Experience proposing coordinating implementing and enforcing information systems security policies standards and methodologies preferably on a large software or IT program.
- Demonstrated experience performing daytoday security operations of large complicated information and information processing systems.
oLevel 04 requires a minimum fifteen 15 years of experience
oLevel 03 requires a minimum twelve 12 years of experience
oLevel 02 requires a minimum nine 09 years of experience
oLevel 01 requires a minimum six 06 years of experience
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 or 3
- Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) Certification
- Computer Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
- Ability to ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system
- Support continuous monitoring of networks to detect and correct areas of security noncompliance unmitigated vulnerabilities and other risks
- Perform regular audits of information systems
- Assist the information systems security manager in preparing the information system for periodic reaccreditation
$85000 $270000 a year
The pay range for this job with multilevels is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
