Job Description

Job Title: Assessor/Trainer Plumbing and Gas

Location:

Cambridge Cambridge England United Kingdom

Salary:

per annum

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design plan and deliver highquality training and assessment in Plumbing and Gas to a diverse range of learners.
  • Assess learners skills and knowledge through practical and theoretical evaluations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners to support their development and progression in their studies.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievement as per college policy.
  • Engage with industry partners to ensure training programs are aligned with current practices and standards.
  • Participate in curriculum development and improvement initiatives to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the continuous quality improvement processes within the academic department.
  • Provide support and mentorship to learners assisting them with any challenges they may face during their training.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and regulations in the Plumbing and Gas sector.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Plumbing and Gas ideally at Level 3 or above.
  • Recognised assessor and/or teaching qualifications (e.g. A1 TAQA PTLLS or equivalent).
  • Current Gas Safe Registration.

Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience in training or assessing in the field of Plumbing and Gas.
  • Experience working within a college or training environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with learners colleagues and industry partners.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative training methods to cater to various learning styles.
