We are currently looking to fill the position of Assistant Project Manager.
The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Management team with of all aspects of solar projects including project planning budgeting buyout construction management project controls/reporting scheduling risk management etc.
Responsibilities
Assist with planning budgeting management and completion of PV projects.
Coordinate design and permitting activities with engineering team and local authorities.
Follow Solar Landscape Safety and Quality standards and make sure others are adhering to policies.
Provide input on construction schedules for assigned projects.
Solicit negotiate and execute subcontracts and purchase orders with timely delivery to support the project schedule.
Schedule and manage deliveries of materials and equipment. Maintain accurate receiving records and provide timely follow up to missing items damaged goods backorders etc.
Assist with planning and of selfperformed work and managing labor crews and subcontractors. Plan sequencing crewsizes productivity goals and monthly labor spend. Execute work and track actual results adjusting and refining forecasts to reflect actual production.
Help complete all job closeout procedures including AHJ inspections interconnection testing documentation Owners Engineer revies Independent Engineer reviews.
Build trust and rapport with all Solar Landscape departments.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Project and construction management software such as Dynamics 365.
Strong understanding of commercial PV construction including rooftop groundmount and carport installations.
Knowledge of behindthemeter and utility interconnection processes.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Detailoriented and selfmotivated with the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with construction safety standards; OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
Valid drivers license with willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Ability to climb ladders and access building rooftops.
Authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis.
