Job Description
JD Finish Line has made a commitment to developing and promoting internal talent via our Investing in People strategy. We realize that supporting ones journey into their next role requires dedicated learning & development opportunities. To achieve this we have decided to reimagine our internship program exclusively allowing our internal talent from Retail Stores the Distribution Center and Customer Care Call Center teams to participate. This new format will become known as our Corporate Academy (internal internship program) which allows team members to have a program dedicated to growing internally and being successful in corporate positions.
The 10 week internal program allows our employees the opportunity to gain handson experience in a variety of departments including: Merchandising (Buying / Planning & Allocation) Marketing Digital Operations Supply Chain and IT. The 2025 Summer Corporate Academy will begin on June 9 2025 and will conclude on August 15 2025. This program will take place 2 times a year Spring and Summer. Housing will be covered in full. If the candidate selected currently makes less than $13.00 per hour their pay will be raised to $13.00 per hour while interning. If they make more in their current role their pay will remain flat.
The Corporate Academy features working in entry level corporate positions as well as crossfunctional training and other great opportunities including:
Informational sessions with executive leadership
Extracurricular networking & professional development activities
Opportunities for oneonone informational sessions with both new and experienced professionals alike
Career coaching from HR professionals
Professional training sessions from our Learning & Development team
Required Education and/or Experience
Eligible employees include:
Internal employee in good standing from our Retail Stores (including store managers) Distribution Center and Customer Care
No education required but a Bachelors Degree preferred
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Should have intermediate working knowledge and abilities with Google GSuite.
Intermediate working knowledge and abilities with Excel is preferred for every internship.

Preferred Skills:
Obtained or pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising Apparel Merchandising Buying or Buying/Merchandising related fieldexperience
