Job Description
Were seeking an experienced accountant to take ownership of fixed asset management financial reporting and process optimization in a dynamic international environment.
This role requires travel to our headquarters in Allendorf once a week.
Your impact
- Ensuring the correct recording of fixed assets determination of depreciation and preparation of the fixed asset schedule
- Preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and US GAAP
- Accounting of companies within the scope of SSC (national & international) in accordance with HGB and US GAAP
- Handling daytoday general ledger accounting for acquired companies
- Collaboration on SAP and process optimization projects in accounting and asset accounting
Who you are
You are an effective communicator and collaborate across different stakeholders as well as you bring:
- Completed commercial vocational training with additional qualification as an accountant or completed business studies preferably with a focus on group accounting auditing or similar
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting in accordance with HGB US GAAP or IFRS
- Enjoy working in a structured and independent manner and proactively driving tasks forward
- Good knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana and MS Office especially Excel
- Fluent German & English both written and spoken
