What You Will Do:

  • Support F35A/F135 operations to include systems tooling material and offboard system processes. The FSE will have handson interaction with the engine (software and hardware) aircraft and squadron personnel.
  • Ensure comprehensive reporting on support activities including aircraft and engine status flight reports operational data engine configuration status and parts consumption.
  • Work closely with internal P&W teams (Customer Support Engineering Supply Chain Management Operations Center Autonomous Logistics Information System (ALIS) to assist unitlevel customers in troubleshooting and resolving emerging issues while maintaining flexibility to adapt to constantly changing customer priorities.
  • Use selfinitiative and judgment to identify problems conduct investigations to determine root cause and coordinate solutions between P&W the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office and Lockheed Martin. Youll also be tasked with coordinating field issues with the P&W Site Manager Engineering and Logistics Program Management.
  • Comply with Environment Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and participating in CustomerOriented Results & Excellence (CORE) initiatives.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time to support customer deployments. Domestic and international travel are possible and part of the team concept.
  • Must have the ability to rotate between first and second shift schedules as required to meet customer support and team objectives.
  • 2nd Shift Hours 2:00 p.m. 10/11:00 p.m.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 8 years of professional experience in engine/aircraft maintenance logistics and logistics support is required with a Bachelors degree and 5 with an advanced degree
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
  • Selected candidate must possess a US Govt. Secret Clearance or have ability to secure one for position requirements Candidates whose clearance has recently lapsed (not more than 2 years) may also apply for consideration.
  • Must agree to travel for extended periods of time to support customer deployments to include domestic and international travel.
  • Must have the ability to rotate first and second shift schedules as required to meet customer support and team objectives.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • 3 years experience with the F135 engine
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products specifically Word PowerPoint and Excel
  • Background in ITAR/ITC is desired

Military Engines Engineering (MEE)

MEE consists of Program Chief Engineers who provide leadership and support for Military Engine programs including Fighters (F100 F119 Mobility (F117 PW4062 for KC46 Tanker) TF33 F135 Military Development Programs and APUs as well as the Engine Life Management Team

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
