We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Global Business Controlling for our Services division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of global finance management and strong leadership and management skills. The successful candidate will be part of the divisional leadership team and will report to the President of the division with a strong matrix to the CFO.
Your day will be filled with:
- Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate preparation and finalization of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
- Coordinate the divisions forecasting process including the formulation analysis and review of the forecasts for all departments within the division
- Prepare divisional financial presentations to top management for monthly results and quarterly forecasts
- Provide insights and benchmark on financial performance and challenge performance deviations
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decisionmaking and collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies
- Actively drive further development of controlling/financial processes and tools working closely with other departments and collaborate on strategic projects across departments e.g. implementation of new ERP system
- Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the division
- Develop and enhance divisionwide standardized controlling systems management processes and tools
- Ensure that the companies within the division comply with all relevant financial regulations and standards
- Lead and develop a team of Controllers and Finance Managers across the globe
The experience we are looking for is:
- Bachelors degree in Finance and Accounting Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Controlling Finance or a related field in a global manufacturing and distribution environment
- Proven experience in global financial management including budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
- Strong leadership and team management skills and proven experience in leading a team of Financial experts
- Fluent in German & English
- Strong understanding of international financial regulations and standards
- Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- IT and data affinity along with excellent MS office skills in MS Office (Teams Word Excel Power point MS Projects SharePoint) and others
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Selfmotivated decisive performancedriven with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy and proactive in managing multiple tasks simultaneously as well as experience in managing larger projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team demonstrating strong analytical and problemsolving skills
