Job Description
As a Software Engineer Developer Level 1 you will develop new and modified code and integrate opensource software solutions for testing. Candidates must be familiar with several code languages and be able to update maintain and repair existing programs. New development uses Python to make calls to external programs and interface with Jenkinss continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) jobs and processes. The current focus is to develop and provide a user interface to schedule Jenkins jobs and monitor progress and output. develop and provide a user interface to schedule Jenkins jobs and monitor progress and output.
Job Description / Requirements:
- Linux
- Python comfortable with modules and API interface calls
- Bash / Shell scripting
- Must be familiar with: Elasticsearch and Logstash (ELK stack NiFi and Jenkins Application Program Interface
- Ruby
- Microsoft Office environment
- Documentation and admin
- Linux security certificates
- Web development tools (Django or similar)
- Seven 7 years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- A bachelors degree may be substituted for four 4 years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes.
- Seven 7 years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.
