Northwest Community Family Medicine Residency is seeking a dedicated and qualified fulltime physician to join our team as Family Medicine Physician Faculty. Based in Philadelphia this role offers the opportunity to practice in our primary office located in the vibrant neighborhood of Manayunk with additional clinical practice at a satellite office in Wyncote PA. Our program prides itself on a longstanding commitment to community medicine and education. As part of our team you will contribute to advancing medical training and patient care in a supportive and innovative environment.
Clinical/Academic Responsibilities:
Conduct 8 clinical sessions per week providing comprehensive family medicine care to a diverse patient population.
Supervise inpatient rounding and the supervision of residents.
Dedicated didactic opportunities for teaching
Precept medical students and residents in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Engage in supervising and mentoring medical students and residents.
Participate in clinicbased and academic research opportunities.
Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. with successful completion of an accredited residency training program in Family Medicine
Board Certified in Family Medicine.
At least 1 years of experience in family medicine.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
