UNM Medical Group Inc. (UNMMG) is currently seeking an Patient Service Coordinator for the UNM Cancer Center Patient Access Patient Registration/CheckIn Services.
Minimum $35339 Midpoint $43451*
*Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
*Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.
This position will report to the Supervisor of Registration/CheckIn Services within the Patient Services Department. The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for all requirements within the Centralized Registration/CheckIn team. The responsibilities include patient reminder phone calls checking the patient in for appointments conducting a full registration verifying insurance collection of copay/selfpay payments and etc. This position is critical to the overall success of the department by meeting established job requirements and performance goals in a very demanding and high producing clinic environment all while addressing and meeting the needs of the patients and/or physicians.
This position will be located at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center (UNMCCC).
Summary
Minimum Job Requirements of a Patient Services Coordinator:
High school diploma or GED. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirements may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
