A New Opportunity and what youll do
The City of Ventura is now accepting applications for the position of Senior Police Records Specialist (Promotional Only). This position is critical in ensuring the accuracy security and accessibility of police records while providing exceptional service to law enforcement personnel public safety agencies and the community. The ideal candidate for this position will have demonstrated excellent communication skills with a strong customer service philosophy in helping others in person via written communication and over the phone.
What Youll Do
In this position you will serve as a lead worker within the records unit overseeing the efficient processing and maintenance of police records. Your responsibilities will include:

A combination of education experience and training equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade and three years of responsible clerical experience including 18 months of police records clerical experience are required. Requirement of keyboarding sufficient to perform the duties of the job. Lead/supervision experience is desired.
