PartTime Instructor Diesel Lab Specialist
Location:Lehi UT
Hours:Monday Thursday 7:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
Salary: $25.72/hour
SUMMARY
As an instructor you will provide instruction to students preparing to become Diesel Technicians. Your focus will be on helping students develop the skills they need to be job ready. RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervision of lab work with emphasis that all safety practices are followed.
- Performs spot checks and corrects guides and facilitates that proper industry practices and procedures are being followed at all times while students are working in the shop.
- Maintains shop hand tool storage tool maintenance and cleanliness.
- Ensures student success by being proactive and selfmotivated to help keep the program running smoothly.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- ASE Certification in course to be taught OR 5 years experience in industry as a technician with the expectation to become ASE certified in each course taught within one year of hire.
