Fernhill is a 164 bed Residential Aged Care Home located in Caboolture.

The Purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to all programs and services across the home. Some if these tasks include but not limited to:

  • Provide a wide range of daytoday administrative tasks to support the office
  • Coordinate the admission process by preparing residential care agreement prior to admission and preparing and coordinating return of resident paperwork and supporting documentation.
  • Manage financial requirements
  • Assist with recruitment and orientation administrative processes including creating and maintaining employee data within the relevant HR and Payroll systems
Qualifications and Experience include:

Certificate III in Business Administration of the knowledge skills and experienced deemed equivalent

Skills & Experience:
  • Experience within Aged Care Environment or similar highly regarded.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Professional and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive and friendly manner and able to collaborate and work well with others
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines in a fastpaced team environment.

Important: All aged care employees and visitors must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID19 in order to enter an aged care facility. All successful applicants will be required to provide proof of both vaccinations prior to commencing along with other compliance documentation

If you are successful you will be required to complete our compliance process which includes the willingness to undertake a national police clearance.
