Job Description
- Plan direct and evaluate the operations of wholesale and retail sales establishments or departments within such establishments.
- Manage personnel and delegate responsibilities.
- Investigate market research and trends to ascertain consumer demand potential sales volumes and the impact of competitors operations on sales.
- Determine the merchandise and services to be sold as well as the pricing and credit policies to be followed
- Find select and purchase merchandise for resale.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Plan budgets and authorize expenditures
- Resolve customers issues.
- Determine staffing needs and hire or supervise the hiring of personnel.
Requirements
- Secondary school completion is required.
- A university degree or a college diploma in business administration or a related field to the product or service being sold may be required.
- Several years of related retail sales experience at increasing levels of responsibility are required.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Natural leadership skills.
- Multitasking ability .
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
