Job Description

Our client a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences is looking for a Lab Tech Ops / Quality Operations Tech based out of Branchburg NJ.

Duration: LongTerm Contract (Possibility Of FT Conversion after one year)

Location: Branchburg NJ

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for conducting routine quality control testing within a regulated environment. This individual must possess a solid understanding of basic scientific principles and be able to perform in an aseptic environment. The role demands a proactive detailoriented approach with a strong commitment to quality and excellence in a fastpaced and growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow departmental work instructions SOPs OSHA safety regulations and cGMPs to conduct testing/laboratory experiments. Utilize established and published procedures batch records and technical understanding to meet schedules and objectives.
  • Assume responsibility for the accuracy quality and timeliness of testing activities. Summarize experimental results and review findings with the supervisor/project leader. Communicate test results effectively and keep leadership informed of significant developments particularly in critical areas.
  • Monitor and manage lab supply inventory. Generate purchase requisitions for materials input production data into appropriate networks (e.g. SAP LIMS) and maintain proper documentation.
  • Handle hazardous materials as required by the role. Duties may also include performing various manufacturing and testing activities such as bulk formulation filling subassembly sample testing and maintaining departmental stockrooms.
  • Interface with internal teams to ensure laboratory equipment maintenance calibration and documentation align with established standards.

Qualifications:

Associates degree or Bachelors degree with 1 or 2 years of relevant experience
