Job Title: Associate Application Engineer

Job Duties: Responsible for endtoend development and deployment of software powering the Aladdin product ensuring high scalability performance and reliability. Collaborate closely with users business analysts and senior tech leads to design robust software solutions. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of designs within project time and budget constraints. Evaluate and recommend installation of new systems or modifications to existing systems based on comprehensive information analysis. Engage with systems analysts engineers and programmers to design systems understanding project limitations capabilities performance requirements and interfaces. Utilize highlevel programming languages such as Java Python and proficiently manage enterprise frameworks including Maven and Spring along with SQL and NoSQL solutions like Cassandra to implement scalable and efficient software solutions. Design develop and maintain enterpriselevel scalable extensible and highperforming APIs using technologies such as gRPC and REST. Design develop and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design decisions. Lead the development of frontend designs for entire web applications overseeing the implementation of user interface screens using React Angular and technologies like Redux NPM Node Cypress and Jest. Mentor junior team members conduct code reviews and impart domain knowledge to foster skill development and maintain high coding standards. Spearhead the integration of AI/ML features such as advanced text summarization recommendations and collaborative tools (e.g. copilot) to enhance product functionality and user engagement. Drive innovation and technical excellence across the team continuously evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends to influence development strategies. Implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit tests (Junit) endtoend testing and regression testing ensuring robustness and reliability of software systems. Manage the software development lifecycle including practicing agile development methodologies building and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines and overseeing release processes. Demonstrate strong problemsolving skills and deep understanding of the software ecosystem to support production issues effectively.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field; and 2 years of experience as an Analyst or related role. Requires 2 years of experience involving the following:
Enterprise level software development languages including Java and Python
Frameworks: Maven Spring and Hibernate
Front End UI development using React with in state management libraries and patterns like Redux or Context API RTK Queries HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript TypeScript
Version control tools including Git
Designing developing and maintaining enterpriselevel distributed scalable extensible and high performing APIs gRPC REST API Authentication (OAuth JWT) and documentation (Swagger or OpenAPI) Protobuf Kafka
Writing unit tests during development cycle endtoend testing and regression testing using Junit Mockito Jest Cucumber
Database and caching and technologies including SQL and NoSQL databases (Cassandra) and Ignite
Objectoriented design and programming multithreading scalable design microservices architecture different design patterns and software development best practices
Integrating AI/ML features into software products such as advanced text summarization recommendation systems or collaborative tools
Software development life cycle which includes business requirements gathering creating high and low level technical designs and agile development practices
