Job Description
Tyvak International is seeking new members to join their team to support space vehicle development. Tyvak focuses on developing and integrating key components and technologies into highly integrated and highperformance nanosatellite vehicles. The teams skillset ranges from architecture design build and test of mechanical electrical and software subsystems integrated into small spacecraft.
We are seeking a motivated Embedded Software Engineer who reporting to the VP Software will join a collaborative team to develop innovative nanosatellite vehicle solutions for multiple projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain simple reliable and faulttolerant software
- Write comprehensive unit and regression tests in existing frameworks
- Integrate and test software in simulation flight replica flight and hardwareintheloop environments
- Work with multiple engineering teams to establish software requirements and design
- Work with various engineering teams to commission newly launched satellites
NOTE: Vacancy is expected to be filled in no more than 30 calendar days from the completion of the hiring process.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in CE CS CPE EE or equivalent field required. Masters Degree is preferred.
- Maximum 5 years of experience developing C applications for embedded highperformance or critical systems
- Highly motivated selfstarting and able to perform duties autonomously without supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Italian and in English
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others member of team towards a common goal
- Positive and proactive person and to be able manage stress and deadlines
- Problem solver able to analyze situations and find practical solutions
Desired Skills
- Handson experience using A.R.M. and Texas Instruments platforms for embedded systems
- Experience with Linux and GNU tools such as make G.C.C. and debuggers such as G.D.B.
- Experience with scripting languages such as bash and Python
- Experience within the aerospace industry
