Sensor & Cartridge Operations manufactures sensors stripes electrochemical electrodes and calibration solutions for our PointofCare analysis instruments.
As a Supply Chain Specialist you will work in a dynamic and versatile environment. Your key responsibility is ensuring the timely availability of nonfinishedgoods to meet the requirements of the LumiraDx stripes production and prevent any supply disruptions. Additionally you will support the standardization and improvement of purchasing processes sharing responsibility for the efficient management of our production operations. You will actively engage with key stakeholders within Sensor & Cartridge Operations to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Location: Onsite in Bathgate Scotland
Key responsibilities:
Material planning of nonfinishedgoods including creation and monitoring of purchase orders to meet requirements of Sensor & Cartridge production and prevent supply disruptions
Act as key contact to suppliers regarding daily operations providing forecasts and guidance in close and proactive collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Direct Procurement Production Planning and the Material Squad
Monitor supplier performance via ontime delivery rates nonconformity trends supplier responsiveness and drive optimizations in close collaboration with Direct Procurement
Analyze disruptions including timely escalation identifying root causes and implementing effective strategies to prevent recurrence
Monitor and improve the NFG inventory levels and s of the assigned product portfolio considering financial liability vs stock availability including continuous improvement of master data in terms of material requirements planning

You bring the following profile:
You have a completed degree in business administration or a related field
Several years of experience in Purchasing Production Planning or Supply Chain as well as several years of experience in Operations in general
High interface and communication competence as well as an independent working style and teamwork ability
Strong communication skills and the ability to address sensitive topics round out your profile
Good knowledge of ERP systems ideally SAP
As this position is part of a global organization international business travel may occasionally be required.
