Responsibilities
Applies the principles of reprocessing medical devices. Disinfects sterilizes assembles and distributes surgical instruments supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
PREFERRED
- Central Service Technician Certification:
- Inpatient sterile processing CRCST or CSPDT certification.
- Outpatient sterile processing CRCST CSPDT or CASSPT certification.
- For GI Labs CFER is acceptable.
- For Surgical Services: Accepted into the Northside SPD Internship or a Graduate of an accredited program in Sterile Processing or a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program with less than 12 months experience.
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
Work Hours:
7 am 3:30 pm
