About Us

Our team comes with over a decade of industry and research experience from top organizations and labs like CMU Berkeley AI Research Lab Google Brain and Qualcomm. Role Description

As an MTS within Machine Learning at Advex you will play a pivotal role in shaping the companys technical direction. Your handson involvement will include working with the founding team to 1 spearhead research in solving research problems around diffusion and representation learning and 2 build our core product and engage directly with our customers. As we expand you will contribute heavily to the architectural roadmap laying the foundation for the Advex platform. Your technical leadership will be instrumental in supporting and growing our engineering and product teams.

Research:

1. Controllability of diffusion models

2. Identifying blindspots in data distributions

3. VLM understanding

4. Evaluation of generative models

Engineering:

1. Large scale model training

2. Quantization & edge deployment

3. Fullstack development

We are seeking an individual who is strategic capable of transforming research constraints and product specifications into an enterpriseready application. We value selfstarters who arent afraid to dive into the details and iterate on prototypes in the early stages of development.

About You

We are seeking a candidate who embodies the following qualifications and characteristics:

• 2 to 5 years of industry experience in Deep Learning and computer vision

• Prior experience working at a startup

• Experiences in end to end ML application development including data engineering model tuning and model serving

• Technical expertise demonstrated through published papers or industry experience:

  • Representation learning SSL VAE Dino SAM

  • Diffusion latent diffusion models unconditional image generation

• Proven track record of rapidly delivering complex project within tight deadlines

• Ability to make critical decisions with little information

• Excel at identifying bottlenecks and gaps within research papers and swiftly translating them into code.
