Medical Receptionist GP Surgery (Middlesex)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join one of our friendly and supportive GP surgeries in Middlesex on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming and patientfocused environment that values teamwork and efficiency.

- Monday 24th February 2025: 13:00 18:30
- Tuesday 25th February 2025: 13:45 18:30
- Wednesday 26th February 2025: 13:45 18:30
- Thursday 27th February 2025: 13:45 18:30
- Friday 28th February 2025: 13:45 18:30
System Used: EMIS Web & Patches
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming and assisting patients with professionalism and care
Managing appointment bookings cancellations and inquiries
Handling telephone and facetoface interactions with empathy
Processing repeat prescriptions and medical reports
Liaising effectively with GPs nurses and administrative staff
Maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring GDPR compliance
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
Updating and maintaining patient records accurately on EMIS Web & Patches
Requirements:
Previous experience in a GP surgery is essential
Proficiency in EMIS Web & Patches
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A patientfocused and compassionate approach
