Position at Nuvance Health Med Practice PC
Vassar Brothers Medical Center located in Poughkeepsie NY just 75 minutes north of New York City is seeking a parttime 0.4 FTE) Nurse Practitioner to coordinate oversee and provide advanced nursing care during the presurgical testing phase to ensure the patient and care team are fully prepared for surgery.
Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays 8am 4:30pm
Vassar Brothers Medical Center provides our seven hospital system and multispecialty practice with tertiary oncology services and is accredited by The American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. Vassar already has many of the key elements of a comprehensive oncology service line in place including a Radiation Oncology team and Surgical Oncology Services in Breast Thoracic GI Gynecology Oncology and Urology. Our goal is to evolve from a comprehensive local program to a regional destination cancer program. Vassar has recently opened a new 696000 squarefoot sevenlevel inpatient pavilion with 264 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms.
Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a 350bed tertiary care hospital that provides the leading acute and critical emergency care in the region. Vassar focuses on providing the highest quality care and meeting the needs of the community of by consistently adding new services and stateoftheart treatments with established centers of excellence in cardiac services cancer care and women and childrens health services. Salary Range: $42000 $60000 yearly; commensurate or relative to experience.
