Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a Team Lead for one of our Superannuation Administration teams. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Superannuation Administration / Client Services professional to join our Superannuation Administration team.

You will report into the Superannuation Administration Manager and lead a team of 13 direct reports.

The primary responsibility is to ensure effective service outcomes are achieved through seamless client interaction which aims to exceed the expectations of our clients through the effective management of the team and development of individuals.

Our office is located in Bundall.

Key responsibilities

    • Management distribution of daily workflow and forward planning of the team.
    • Lead the team towards achieving operational group goals and objectives and encourage participation and engagement in decision making and problem solving.
    • Drive a service excellence team culture whilst monitoring quality and service standards in accordance with agreed resolution timeframes and SLAs.
    • Implementing training and development plans for staff in line with corporate product and business strategies.
    • Assist individuals adapt in an environment of ongoing change including maintaining open communication within the team supervisors and the executive team.
    • Proactively review current business procedures ensure documentation current accessible to team and facilitate the introduction of new processes where appropriate.
    • Actively manage the client relationship (Advisor Trustee custodians fund managers and brokers) and proactively handle client enquires escalations & complaints.

What youll need

    • Minimum 2 years team leadership experience within either Administration or Client Services
    • Experience in Financial Services and a knowledge and understanding of Superannuation(highly regarded).
    • Ability to lead a team through large volumes of work and ongoing change
    • Strong communication skills both written & verbal and an ability to engage & partner with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
    • Commitment to high standards of client service with a balanced focus on the commercial priorities of the business
    • A continual improvement mindset and a desire to strive to achieve optimal results.
