The role...
Were expanding our product team and looking for a UI/UX Designer to play a key role in shaping the user experience of our platform. Youll work closely with product managers and engineers to design intuitive userfriendly solutions that help manufacturers streamline their operations.
Youll be responsible for research wireframing prototyping and final visual designshelping to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for our users. Youll say no to complexity and advocate for simplicity.
This is a remotefriendly role with the option to work from our Chicago or San Francisco offices. We support flexible work while valuing the collaboration and speed that come from working together in person.

What youll do...
Own the endtoend UI/UX design process from research and wireframing to highfidelity designs and prototyping.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and refine product experiences.
Conduct user research usability testing and stakeholder interviews to inform design decisions.
Translate complex workflows into intuitive userfriendly interfaces.
Ensure consistency in UI components and interactions across the platform.
Advocate for the user while balancing business goals and technical constraints.
Stay uptodate on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation.
Requirements
5 years of UI/UX design experience in SaaS or B2B products.
Strong portfolio showcasing experience in interaction design user research and visual design.
Proficiency in Figma Sketch or similar design tools.
Ability to create wireframes user flows and highfidelity mockups.
Strong understanding of usability principles accessibility and responsive design.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
Experience collaborating closely with engineers and product teams to implement designs.
Strong problemsolving ability; able to simplify complex workflows into elegant solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing for industrial IoT or dataheavy applications.
Familiarity with Locations and Affordances design concepts.
Basic understanding of frontend development principles (HTML CSS JavaScript) to bridge design and engineering.

Compensation & Benefits:
The range of annual base salary for fulltime employees for this position is $per year. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amper provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental and vision insurance 401(k) unlimited paid time off and earlystage stock option equity.
